In the past when Tele-Medicine first emerged there were no real regulations for it. You could receive a prescription without ever speaking with the doctor and you didn't have to provide one bit of evidence about your medical condition. It was as easy as filling out an online form and filling out your credit card information.

We  work only with Tele-Medical Groups that meet the guidelines that are set by the AMA and DEA regarding Tele-Medicine.

Tele-Medicine today is very different. Even though there is no Federal guidliness as of yet, each state has taken it upon themselves to enact their own laws. There are a couple of states that strictly prohibit Tele-Medicine but most states have set guideliness in order for doctors and pharmacies to practice Tele-Medicine. Most states require that a valid doctor/patient relationship be established. In Tele-Medicine right now a valid doctor/patient relationship is met through the following condtions.

1. A patient has a medical complaint

2. A medical history has been taken

3. A medical examination has been performed in the last year.

4. A logical connection exists between the medical complaint, the medical history, the examination and the drug prescribed.
